Onion Bhaji
The onion bhaji is an Indian snack of which the main ingredient is… yep you’ve guessed it…fried onions. They are traditionally known as Bhajjiya (or Pakora in Hindi and onion bhajji in English!)
The onion bhaji is popular to eat as just a snack or a starter. Onions are sliced, herbs and spices are added, they are then dipped in a special batter and fried until golden. They can be made to taste, ranging from mild to blow your mind hot!
Our onion bhaji recipe is authentically Indian and the bhajis are made to be served as Hors d’oeuvres (although you can do as you please with them!) They may be served with a side of salad and slice of lemon, or with mango chutney.
